Event Details
Jazkarta and the Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences are sponsoring the 2010 Boston World Plone Day, and all are invited
to attend. It will be held in the Forum Room at Harvard University's Lamont
Library,
at the corner of Mass Ave and Quincy Street.
World Plone Day is a once-a-year event when people in 29 countries around the world interested in the Plone open source content management system get together to share experiences, ideas, and fun. Seminars, presentations, lectures, and discussions explore what Plone is and what it can do for you and your organization.
If you're already using Plone, this is your chance to meet other Plone enthusiasts in the Boston/Cambridge area, and hear about the innovative ways they are using Plone.
The Plone CMS is used by thousands of non-profits, small businesses, universities, government agencies and corporations around the world. It supports over 35 languages out-of-the-box, includes plugins for blogging, wikis, membership directory, e-commerce and much more. It's open source software which means that you have complete control over the codebase and can get started quickly at little to no cost.
Everyone is welcome whether you are new to CMSes, new to Plone or an old pro.
